Abstract:

Higher worldwide research activities in the fields of Nuclear fusion energy indicate the importance of developing such technology in Iran as well. On the other hand, the ambiguity regarding the justification and priority of investing in each of the methods of Nuclear fusion is a universal challenge that is altimatlly common among Nuclear fusion experts Iran too. The present research is aiming at presenting a coherent investigation that can be based on analytical and comparative analysis to achieve a rational prioritization among different methods of Nuclear fusion. In this article, different Nuclear fusion options are prioritized, using the experts’, opinions through Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP),free from any personal judgments and influences. Furthermore, through Delphi method, 19 quality criteria related to different methods of Nuclear fusion were classified based on mathematical logic, and based on the degree of importance and screenings, 13 criteria were finally selected. Then, using hierarchical analysis method and also through Expert Choice software, pairwise comparisons between criteria were performed to determine their coefficient of importance. In addition, pairwise comparisons were made between each of the criteria for each of the fusion methods. Finally, the strategic practical prioritization of three different Nuclear fusion methods was quantitatively achieved as 0. 415, 0. 379, and 0. 207, respectivly, for Iran.

Abstract:

We study a model for production of stable micro black holes based on investigation of the thermodynamics of micro black holes and the LHC test. That showed how this production can be obtained by a thermodynamic process of stability. The general second law of black hole thermodynamics plays an important role here and, through Hawking radiation and fusion reactions entropy formulas a valid total entropic is obtained. Therefore, we reach an energy of stability by quantum perturbation expansion over this total entropic formula that is illustrated in detail in this paper. Based on this study, the producing of stable particles (in terms of our investigation, micro-black holes) at the LHC might yielded an interesting result that it is worth a try, which could have different results.

Abstract:

Nowadays, Nuclear fusion reaction taken place in systems as fusion Reactors, are the base of a lot of widespread researches to achievement a new source of energy. Although using these kinds of reactors is very beneficial, the optimum usage of them requires sever attention to their effects on human being and his environment. It is shown that the best fuel for fusion reactors is tritium. Tritium is a radioactive isotope of hydrogen with 12.32- year half-life that emits beta radiation. Although its specific activity is relatively weak because of its gaseous state, it can leak easily its ecological effects should be considered. In all around the world, in order to improving safety and reliability of these reactors, researcher groups expandedly investigate radiation hazards resulting from release of tritium and activation products during normal operations as well as accidental conditions. Some of the most significant results and safety aspects are briefly presented in this paper.

Abstract:

The role of saturation property of cold Nuclear matter is examined in order to describe the steep falloff phenomenon of the measured fusion cross sections at energies far below the Coulomb barrier for 58Ni+54Fe colliding system. For this aim, the double-folding microscopic approach which is modified by modeling the repulsive core effects in the nucleonnucleon interactions is used to calculate the Nuclear interaction potential. Moreover, the theoretical values of the fusion cross section, S factor, and the logarithmic derivative are computed using the coupled-channel technique, including couplings to the low-lying 2+ and 3− states in target and projectile. The obtained results reveal that the corrective effects of cold Nuclear matter can be responsible for the description of the fusion hindrance phenomenon in our chosen system.

Objective: Investigating some biological side effects of radiations resulted from fusion reaction experiments in DAMAVAD Tokamak.Materials and methods: The absorbed dose of the personnel in DAMAVAND Tokamak was measured using LIF dosimeters and analyzed. Results: In DAMAVAND in areas near the forbidden zone around this device the level of the received dose is very high (more than 6 mSv for each 100 shots) and in regions around the control panel and shielding room that personnel usually attend the level of the effective absorbed dose is about 1.16 mSv for each 100 shots. In each working period in DAMAVAND Tokamak about 100 shots are being done weekly. Hence, each of the personnel will absorb about 5×1.16= 5.8 mSv that is very high for a short period (5 days). Conclusion: managers of the fusion laboratories must govern personnel's duties properly and arrange female working conditions in critical situations of their lives. Therefore, it is recommended that the contribution of the pregnant women must not be more than 60 shots per month and it is better to be decreased to 55, because they absorb some extra doses from the experiments with other device while attending to the building of laboratory.

Abstract:

Sonofusion phenomenon will not be achieved unless there is an appropriate host media. To increase the probability of sonofusion reaction, the cavitating bubble's radius must be as large as possible and due to the bubble collapse, it produces intense shock waves. In this paper, the effective parameters in sonofusion media have been identified and then the roles of these parameters have been analyzed in the maximum bubble growth rate and intensive implosion, to create stronger shock waves, and consequently they lead to occurrence of sonofusion. These parameters are: a) Vapor pressure and condensation coefficient to reach at a high rate of condensation in the collapse stage. b) Ionization energy that has a significant role in the nucleation, bubble growth, and molecular dissociation that is effective in the collapse stage. c) Dielectric constant that has an important role in the electrostatic pressure in bubble growth stage. D) Instant compressibility, static compressibility, and relaxation time in acoustic absorption e) Surface tension and intermolecular potential  that are effective parameters in the growth and coalescence of the bubbles. Thus the optimum media for sonofusion phenomenon have been selected and introduced by performing research in various organic groups.

Abstract:

In this paper, we compare the performance of state vector fusion methods for data fusion of multi sensors networks by comparing the estimation errors covariance. Here, we represent the three main state vector data fusion methods and we prove the equivalency of the estimation error covariance matrices corresponding to these three methods. In last part of the paper, the simulation results are presented to show the effectiveness of the theoretical results. Also, we analyze the computational load of these three methods by simulation analysis.

Abstract:

In recent years, various designs for controlled thermoNuclear fusion based on the p11B reaction have been reviewed and optimized. In this article, to innovate in achieving a better power and energy gain of neutron-free p11B fusion reaction, the improvement of the cross-section and also the kinetic effects. Then, the effects of bremsstrahlung radiation and ion and electron energy exchange rate have been evaluated by introducing relativistic effects and its role on improving fusion energy gain. As a result, the temperature of the electron is kept lower than that of the ion, which improves fuel performance. Finally, it leads to an increase in the number of protons at higher energies compared to the pure Maxwellian distribution and it causes a significant increase in reactivity compared to previous research. Also, the number of alpha particles obtained through calculations coincides with the latest research and leads to an enhancement of approximately 13%. This means that by improving the fusion cross-section of p11B, our calculations show that considering the avalanche effects, the range of achievable energy gain in the temperature range of 300 to 500 keV and the stable characteristic time of 0.64 ps reaches 89 to 111. While in the same temperature range and with the stable characteristic time of 0.74 ps, regardless of the improved cross-section, the energy gain range is 75 to 98.

Abstract:

Information fusion compared with Data fusion concept stands in a higher level of hierarchy on decision making process. As a result, this makes it possible to achieve better and more complete results.Today intelligent systems are able to act as personal assistant of human, and provide the needed information among the available information sources. The research work on this field is essential and there are still many deficiencies on this respect to be sorted out. In this article, we have focused on the Information fusion concept with a novel approach to design and implement an architecture of a customized intelligent agent, which will be able to retrieve the information needed by user with respect to his/her interests from various information servers (such as internet and intranet search engines and databases). The designed agent uses the different information fusion techniques to achieve this goal. The OWA operator which is the subset of the great family of Fuzzy Integral Operators is used to design the operational model of above mentioned agent. This agent fuses the Data, Features, and Decisions in three distinct levels. The agent is able to cluster categories, and extracts the behavioral model of information servers with respect to each cluster and uses these models in final decision making process.
